Buffalo keeps finding ways to win. Is that what makes them a better team then most?
When one looks at the Sabres lineup, it appears that they may be a team that would likely be in the area of 6th-10th. The Sabres aren't top heavy with talent like some teams. Also, unlike other teams, they don't truly have good depth. But for some reason, that doesn't matter when you're the Buffalo Sabres. After dropping their first game of the season, the Sabres have gone on a tear winning seven straight to the top of the NNHL league. Before you check out the moves that have brought the Sabres to the top of the league, realize that they have done so without a general manager. The organization continues to look for someone who can operate the team on a day to day basis, and hopefully continue to lead them into first place.
More interesting stats from the Sabres: -Their only loss has come at home on opening night -Jason Pominville has 10 points in only 8 games -Thomas Vanek has scored 6 goals already this season.
Good times lay ahead for the Buffalo Sabres.

Good read - nice start for BUF for sure! Of course you realize you've jinxed it - just watch them lose a bunch in a row now haha

No one seems to want to GM the Sabres. Makes no sense. They lost tonight, jinx'd! Don't worry, they play the habs tomorrow, they can't lose.
