I find Malkin like heatley and Kovalchuk and both those players produce even with no one around them. ( look at heatley when spezza is out of the line-up) I would choose him in a heart beat. Crosby does make everyone a better player but a one man team doesnt win championships as Toronto found out with only having Sundin as really talented.

If a one man team doesnt win championships then why would you chose Malkin??? Crosby turns average players into superstars and could play a good two way game with Eric Godard and Chris Simon on his wings.

Well any player playing with Malkin is clearly going to look better as well since his assists will be through the roof and he will get rebound goals along the way. A player with Crosby will also score some goals and get some assists but when your not a proven sniper you just can't score and no goals equals no wins.
Player's playing with a sidney crosby should have a proven track record as a goal scorer. These player's come with a certain price tag based on experience, potential, and previous number of goals per season.
A player with malkin just needs to pass him the puck and skate to the net and pucks will go in on a regular basis. These player's dont have be any kind of superstar so you can afford to load money up on a few good D-men a good goalie and another top forward with experienced guys. Play him with a top player line on PP and when your team needs an offensive boost.
If Crosby would score at least 40G and pull 60A a season he would raise his value to a team. Sniper's are rare in a league where talent is stretched out in the 30 team NHL.
A guy that can score will have 2 playmaker's on his line and create for himself.

I'd go with Crosby. Malkin gave a bad impression for me in the playoffs. He made some really dirty plays against Carolina, especially a pair involving Dennis Seidenberg. Just seemed like a classless player at times.
