One potential solution to this fake/real issue....what about having one draft of NHL players drafted at the #1,3,5,7, etc (odds) spots and the next season’s draft of NHL players drafted from the same draft at #2,4,6,8,etc (evens) spots? This way we get all real players and get a good mix of good and not-so good prospects during the draft. Just use the top 180 players in the draft (90 for one draft, 90 for the other) and we’ll be good to go. Thoughts?

its hard to rate players who went as low as 180 in the draft. There is nothing wrong with fake players we should stick with the alternating plan

I think Jaroslav Janus should have gone higher than he did in the last draft, but he's a goaltender and has only played 2 seasons in the OHL, so he didn't get picked until the 6th round, at #162.

Ya i agree i think we should just go real draft then fake draft. I would be in favor for all fake drafts after next year. Gets rid of alot of complications and allows us to put 15/16yr olds in the draft so we can keep an eye on them for awhile. Just a suggestion

Indeed. I'll have to look and find a way to get 15/16 year olds in. I might have to do like 10 15 year olds per year that break in then the rest join after or something

Ya maybe like 10/15 and 40/16 and 90/17. I would be willing to start creating these prospects as early as tomorrow and work through it through out the season. Im guessing we would need to add a couple more teams but after the next season players should start graduating pretty quickly. It would prob be easier if we went all fake but if you and everybody wanted to alternate real and fake then im sure that it could work.
I dont have an ov calculator for STHS sim so that could be a bit of a problem but i can get started on it at least. Next year will be all fake right?

Yes next year will be all fake. I already have something here that can generate stats though.

How many 15 year olds are in the CHL right now? Maybe like 5 in the O the W and Q combined. They usually don't start a full time roll until they're 16. It takes an exceptional 15 year old(Tavares) to gain a full time spot on a CHL club. If you want to keep this league as close to the real thing as possible, then using so many 15 year olds in the junior league doesn't make sense.

Should I switch the junior league to being simmed every day or what?

For some reason the junior league files are missing from my computer... I can't find them anywhere. No clue what could have possibly happen. I have it backed up to the 9th day of simming so the results may be different.
